Artificial Passive Immunity: Artificial passive immunity is one type of acquired immunity. Artificial passive immunity is a temporary type of immunity provided by the injection of antibodies, such as immune globulins and gamma globulins. There are injectable immune globulins available for temporary protection after exposure to such diseases as Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and rabies.
