Left Motor Area: The left motor area is one of the specialized motor areas that are located in the left frontal lobe of the cerebrum. The left motor area generates impulses that are involved with voluntary movement of muscles on the right side of the body.
Conditions that can afflict the left motor area include cerebral palsy, meningitis, subdural hematoma, cancer, inflammation, stroke, genetic disorders, hemorrhage, infection, and encephalitis.
