Teres Minor Tendons: The teres minor tendons are paired bands of connective tissue made of collagen that connect the teres minor muscles to the humerus. The teres minor tendons enable the contracting teres minor muscles to adduct, extend, and laterally rotate the shoulder. They also help to stabilize the shoulder.
Conditions that can afflict the teres minor tendons include shoulder impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tendonitis, tears, rupture, and strains.
