Photoallergic eruption: Introduction

Photoallergic eruption: A skin condition that develops in response to sun exposure on skin to which chemicals such as sunscreen, cosmetics, ointment or fragrance has been applied. The ingestion of certain drugs can also trigger the condition. The reaction may be delayed so that a skin rash on exposure to the sun may not show up for several days.
