Ulna rodding: Ulna rodding is surgery to thread a metal rod within the shaft of the ulna (one of the lower arm bones) to strengthen the bone and prevent repeated fractures and correct deformities. Rods may be non-expanding and expanding, in which a telescoping rod is used that can elongate with bone growth (in children).
