Glossary for T-cell lymphoma of the skin

  • Cancer: Abnormal overgrowth of body cells.
  • Immune disorders: Disorders that affect the immune system
  • Lymphatic system conditions: Medical conditions affecting the lymphatic system including lymph nodes and lymphatic circulation.
  • Lymphatic system tumors: Any type of tumor affecting the lymphatic system, whether cancerous or benign.
  • Mechlorethamine -- Teratogenic Agent: There is evidence to indicate that exposure to Mechlorethamine during pregnancy may have a teratogenic effect on the fetus. A teratogen is a substance that can cause birth defects. The likelihood and severity of defects may be affected by the level of exposure and the stage of pregnancy that the exposure occurred at.
  • Skin Cancer: Cancer of the skin; the most common type of cancer.
  • Skin conditions: Any condition that affects the skin
