Bladder cancer test: The bladder cancer test is a laboratory test used to identify extra copies of chromosomes 3, 7, 17 and loss of part of chromosome 9 in a sample of cells from a urine sample. These chromosome characteristics are consistent with bladder cancer when combined with other diagnostic procedures (e.g. biopsy of suspected lesions).
