Desmoglein test: The desmoglein test is a laboratory test used to detect human serum autoantibodies to desmoglein 1 (DSG-1) and desmoglein 3 (DSG-3). The presence of autoantibodies in a blood sample is used to diagnose the skin disease pemphigus foliaceus.
