Prognosis for Upper Aerodigestive Tract NK/T cell lymphoma
Prognosis for Upper Aerodigestive Tract NK/T cell lymphoma:
This type of tumor is generally aggressive. Early diagnosis can result in a better prognosis. The presence of B symptoms (weight loss, fever, night sweats) indicates systemic involvement and a poore prognosis. Patients with tumors not located in the upper aerodigestive tract, nasopharynx and nasal cavity tend to have a poorer prognosis than patients with tumors in the nasal and aerodigestive tract regions. This group of patients should be treated more aggressively.
