Symptoms of Vascular Dementia

Symptoms of Vascular Dementia: Introduction

The symptoms of vascular dementia generally develop gradually and subtly in progressive steps. Sometimes there is a mild improvement of symptoms before another stroke or TIA causes further deterioration. Physical symptoms can include dizziness, problems with balance and falling, incontinence, shuffling type of gait, tremors, and weakness of the extremities.
