Glossary for Wrinkly skin syndrome

  • Dry skin: Dryness of the skin.
  • Foot conditions: Any condition that may affect the foot
  • Hand conditions: Any condition that affects the hand
  • Low birth weight: When the weight of a new born baby is below average
  • Mental retardation: A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by mental retardation, hypogonadism, diabetes and facial and skull abnormalities.
  • Microcephaly: Small head circumference
  • Muscle Hypotonia: Abnormally decreased muscle tone. The condition is associated with numerous syndromes.
  • Muscle weakness: A condition which is characterized by an inability of the muscles to function at their full strenght
  • Poor growth: Poor body growth or delayed physical development.
  • Skin conditions: Any condition that affects the skin
  • Weaver Syndrome: A syndrome that is considered a variant of the Marshall-Smith syndrome
