Laryngoscope: A laryngoscope is a small diameter hose-like instrument with a camera on the end used to view the throat, which consists of the larynx (voice box) and pharynx. Laryngoscopes usually have more than one port for viewing and for inserting surgical instruments for biopsy or treatment of disease (e.g. sealing a bleeding ulcer).
