Description of Cruveilhier-Baumgarten syndrome

Cruveilhier-Baumgarten syndrome: A condition where cirrhosis of the liver, portal hypertension and splenomegaly cause the paraumbilical vein to carry the blood. The blood flowing through the paraumbilical vein bypasses the liver.

Cruveilhier-Baumgarten syndrome: Liver cirrhosis with intrahepatic portal obstruction, HYPERTENSION, and patent UMBILICAL VEINS.
