Introduction: GnRH

Description of GnRH

GnRH: A synthetic Luteinizing Hormone Releasing Hormone that binds to specific transmembrane glycoprotein receptors on gonadotrophic cells, stimulating synthesis and secretion of gonadotropins. Continuous administration of Gonadorelin desensitizes the gonadotrophic cells. Clinical Use: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea and Hypothalamic/Pituitary Function Evaluation.
