Description of Phlebography

Phlebography: A diagnostic test for determining the presence of blood clots in the leg or deep vein thrombosis. It involves using a contrast die and x-rays to find the blood clot. Also called venography.

Phlebography: Radiographic visualization or recording of a vein after the injection of contrast medium.
