Description of Rheumatoid factor

Rheumatoid factor: A test that measures if and how much rheumatoid factor is present in the blood in order to diagnose rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid factor: antibodies directed against antigenic determinants in the Fc region of IgG, frequently found in the serum of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and other connective tissue diseases.
