Asbestosis trust pays out R16 million so far

Gencor established a trust fund a year ago in response to litigation over asbestos poisoning. So far, over R16-million has been paid out for about 100 claims with 150 more nearly ready to finish up. Claimants can receive funds within 3 months of making a claim and those suffering from mesothelioma need only wait two weeks. The trust started with R400-million.
