ADHD is a mental health disorder which is multiplying rapidly. About 5 million American children have been diagnosed with the disease. Diagnosis is difficult as it has similar symptoms to other mental disorders such as bipolar. Also diagnosis are often done subjectively through questionnaires and school counselor reports. Two companies are working together to utilize brain imaging in diagnosis and so far have had good results.
