Male menopause -- a very real problem

Therapists are starting to unite in the belief that male menopause or andropause really does exist and many men are unaware of it. Characteristics associated with andropause are irritability, unhappiness and lack of sex drive. These feelings tend to lead men to believe that it is things around him causing his problems and this often leads to marriage breakdowns and marital affairs. Men need to acknowledge that they are having difficulties and see a doctor to make sure they are not suffering from andropause, lower testosterone levels, depression or stress. However, today most physicians are still not familiar with the condition.
