Man diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease believes he has Lyme disease

A fit healthy man in his late 30’s was diagnosed by three different doctors with ALS which is incurable and results in death in a matter of years. After his body had suffered significant deterioration he read an article about a particular doctor who believed many ALS sufferers were misdiagnosed and were actually suffering with Lyme disease which is curable even in its advanced state. The man is now undergoing treatment for Lymes and has shown some improvement. Deterioration of his body has ceased and he firmly believes he has Lyme disease and will be cured.
