Orthopedic surgeon may have to face over 70 lawsuits

A former osteopathic physician is facing six lawsuits over many alleged inadequate orthopedic surgeries performed over 7 months. Up to another 70 law suits are pending. Most of the cases resulted from the belief that surgeries were performed on broken bones when a simple cast would have been sufficient.
