Scoliosis causing pain in adults

Curvature of the spine, or scoliosis, primarily affects children, but can cause severe back pain and deformity in adults if it is not properly fixed, develops in adulthood, or goes undiagnosed. Crippling scoliosis can be treated with back surgery, to improve the ability to walk, carry weight and standing.
