Other methods of arthritic pain treatment include phototherapy (laser treatment), astaxanthin (a strong antioxidant), cherry extract, some Chinese herbs, increasing water consumption, avoiding all dairy products, increasing exposure to sunlight and physical therapy. People often just look for the simple drug alternative which is increasingly being shown to be an unwise choice. One person likens the whole drug fiasco the smoking fiasco: use either one over the long term and expect serious consequences.
