Of all the developed countries, America heads the list with the most amount of medical malpractice claims due to issues with poor care, investigations, medication errors, and ongoing management. The survey targeted people who underwent surgery and found that 34% were dissatisfied with their level of care. Many medical professionals are aware that medical negligence and litigation claims are stimulated by patients feeling as though the medical staff have not provided good care with 19-25% of patients unhappy with the level of communication with the doctor. Many people also reported that they found the cost for medical services excessive in the States, making health care unavailable.
