Vision disorder can severely handicap learning

A 5 year old boy was deemed healthy and with good vision by doctors even though he couldn't read the alphabet and often walked into walls. His kindy teacher also claimed his development was normal. He was then diagnosed with vision based learning disorder. The mother of a 11 year old boy was told her son needed treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder even though she knew he had a vision disorder. The disorder can be treated with vision therapy.
