Woman dies from disease contracted during growth hormone treatment

A family is battling for compensation for their daughter’s death after she contracted CJD while receiving growth hormone injections from the ages of 7 to 16. Their daughter showed no signs of growing as a toddler so her parents consented to growth hormone injections. She was 33 when she died.
