Young fit woman dies suddenly from undiagnosed aortic aneurysm

A fit 19 year old basketball player died suddenly because of a ruptured aorta caused by an aneurysm. The aneurysm was probably due to Marfan syndrome which is a hereditary disorder. It is believed that 56,000 people in America suffer form this disease and many are undiagnosed. It usually affects tall, thin, loose-jointed people.
