Cuboidal Epithelium: Cuboidal epithelium is a type of simple epithelium that consists of cells that are cube shaped. Cuboidal epithelium is found in tissues that secrete or absorb substances, such as the ducts of glands, ovaries, testes, pancreas and the kidney tubules. Conditions that can afflict the cuboidal epithelium include cancer, dysplagia, infection, trauma, and inflammation.
