Review: This book is useful for parents of young children as it covers the most common symptoms associated with children and is aimed at parents who want to make some sense of their child's symptoms. There is also information that pertains particularly to young babies as opposed to children in general. Common parent questions are also noted and answered. This book is not ideal to use as a quick reference as it is written in chapter form rather than alphabetically listing the symptoms. It is, however, a useful tool that helps guide parents in their analysis of their child's symptoms in a sequential manner in order to determine the possible cause and what course of action to take.
