Sonohysterography: Sonohysterography is a type of gynecological exam using soundwave technology to visualize the uterus. A soundwave transducing probe is inserted into the vagina and the uterus while sterile saline is delivered through a catheter to the inside of the uterus to enlarge it and facilitate viewing.
