Glossary for Waaler Aarskog syndrome

  • Bone conditions: Conditions that affect the bones
  • Broad nose: A broad nose is a nose that is wider and larger than the average nose.

  • Ferlini-Ragno-Calzolari syndrome: A rare syndrome reported in only a few families and characterized by skeletal problems, excessive fluid inside the skull and neurological problems.

  • Hydrocephalus: A rare condition where the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid is impaired by dilated brain ventricles which causes the fluid to accumulate in the skull and hence result in increased brain pressure.
